Mission First Housing Development Corporation (MFHDC) is a Washington DC nonprofit corporation [501(c)(3) pending] with a mission of providing decent, safe affordable housing for low-income persons, including persons with special needs, through the acquisition, development and operation of affordable housing and other facilities in the Washington DC metropolitan area and surrounding states.
Through Columbus Property Management & Development, Inc. (CPM), MFHDC provides property management services for its completed projects.
MFHDC is a member of CPM Housing Group, a group of nonprofit companies with more than 20 years of experience in developing and managing affordable rental housing for low-income individuals. The CPM Housing Group currently operates more than 2000 units of affordable rental housing in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the Washington DC metropolitan area.
